Alfa Romeo is an Italian automotive brand with a rich motorsport heritage stretching back to 1910. Based in Milan, Italy, Alfa Romeo has long been known for producing sporty, stylish vehicles with a passionate following. In recent years, the brand has embraced electrification as part of Stellantis, the global automotive group that also owns Jeep, Fiat, and Dodge.

Alfa Romeo’s first all-electric vehicle is the Junior Elettrica, a compact crossover that brings the brand’s signature styling into the EV era. The Junior Elettrica is built on a modern electric platform and targets drivers who want a premium, sporty EV without the price tag of a larger luxury vehicle.

The Alfa Romeo Tonale is another key model in the brand’s electrified lineup. Available as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), the Tonale combines a turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor for improved efficiency and performance. It can travel on electric power alone for everyday short trips, making it a practical entry point into electrified driving for Alfa Romeo fans.

Charging the Junior Elettrica and Tonale PHEV at home is straightforward with a Level 2 EV charger. A Level 2 charger can fully replenish the Tonale’s battery overnight, while the Junior Elettrica benefits from faster charging speeds that make daily top-ups quick and convenient.

Alfa Romeo EVs use the standard J1772 connector for Level 2 home charging, which means they’re compatible with a wide range of home EV chargers and accessories available on the market today.

If you drive a Junior Elettrica or a Tonale PHEV, this hub is your go-to resource for Alfa Romeo EV charger reviews, installation tips, and accessory recommendations tailored to Alfa Romeo electric vehicles.
