Hyundai Logo

Hyundai is a South Korean automaker founded in 1967 and headquartered in Seoul. From its origins as a budget car brand, Hyundai has transformed into one of the most respected automakers in the world. Today, Hyundai is widely recognized as a leader in electric vehicle technology, thanks to its innovative IONIQ lineup and impressive EV engineering.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is one of the most award-winning electric vehicles of the modern era. Built on the E-GMP platform, it features 800-volt ultra-fast charging capability, a retro-futuristic design, and spacious interior. The IONIQ 6 brings the same advanced platform to an aerodynamic electric sedan with exceptional efficiency and long range.

The Hyundai IONIQ 9 is the brand’s flagship electric SUV, offering three rows of seating and impressive range for larger families. Hyundai also offers the Kona Electric, a more affordable compact EV for budget-conscious buyers entering the electric market.

Hyundai EVs support 800-volt DC fast charging, allowing compatible vehicles to charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes. At home, Hyundai EVs use a standard J1772 Level 2 connection and can accept up to 11 kW of AC charging. A 48-amp Level 2 home charger is the ideal setup for overnight charging.

Hyundai’s Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, available on IONIQ models, allows drivers to power appliances and devices directly from the car’s battery. This feature makes smart home charging and bidirectional energy use increasingly relevant for Hyundai EV owners.

This hub is your trusted source for Hyundai EV charger reviews, installation tips, and home charging accessories for all Hyundai electric vehicles, including the IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, IONIQ 9, and Kona Electric.
