Constructed with durable materials, the ChargeWrap includes hardware for wood, masonry, or drywall installation. The mounting bracket simplifies the process, enabling single-person installation. The box’s dimensions, 20 inches tall, 17 inches wide, and 8.4 inches deep, provide ample space for most chargers and their cords. A bottom cutout accommodates the power supply, though it is incompatible with chargers featuring top-entry cables.
One of the standout features is the dual locking system, which includes a key and a customizable numeric code. This flexibility ensures secure access while protecting against tampering and theft. Leaving the bottom uncaulked allows for proper drainage.
Although the box significantly deters casual theft, it does not fully eliminate the risk of cable theft if a determined individual attempts to cut the cable while in use. However, such occurrences are rare and often overemphasized. For most users, the ChargeWrap offers peace of mind against opportunistic theft.
